Listed below are just a few of the funds that have been started by residents for residents and demonstrate the generous spirit of the people who live in our Village.

New Health Center Fund - This fund supports the commitment of John Knox Village to building a brand new state-of-the-art Health Center.

Transportation Fund - The Village maintains a fleet of cars and buses. These vehicles are used to transport residents wherever they need to go; the doctor, shopping, church or perhaps the movie theater or a favorite restaurant. In this day and age, where a car represents freedom, it is reassuring to know that the Village’s transportation fleet will be able to take residents where we want to go.

Resident Assistance Fund - Donations to this fund are used to supplement the monthly service fees of residents who are experiencing financial hardship.

Rose Garden Fund - Who doesn’t enjoy seeing roses? At John Knox Village the Rose Buddies deliver roses picked fresh from our beautiful rose garden to decorate public spaces throughout the Village.

Maggie Goetz Bird Fund - Residents and visitors enjoy watching the various birds in and around our lakes. This fund provides for the feeding, care and medical needs of these beautiful birds.

Tropical Tree Fund - When Hurricane Wilma thrashed Southeast Florida in October 2005, the Village lost over 200 trees. With such devastation to the grounds, Village residents donated money to restore the trees that were lost. Under the guidance of a resident, the Tropical Tree Fund continues to purchase trees to plant around the Village.

Chapel Maintenance Fund - In 1989, the residents of the Village came together to build the Village Centre. This building serves as the chapel for Sunday services as well as the auditorium for Village activities and the Fitness Center. Donations help cover costs of maintaining the building.

Employee Scholarship Fund - This fund provides scholarship assistance for employees who want to further their education.

Unrestricted Fund - An unrestricted donation is always welcome.
